Who We Are

A San Antonio Family Business,
Built One Yard at a Time

Mabry Lawn & Sprinklers started in 2015 when our founder committed to the irrigation trade full-time, learning every valve, wire, and zone the hard way — in San Antonio yards, under the Texas sun. He went on to earn his state irrigator license and his backflow prevention certification, and today we operate as a fully TCEQ-licensed family company.

We're not a franchise and we don't subcontract. When you call Mabry, you get a licensed technician who shows up in a fully stocked truck, diagnoses the real problem, and fixes it right — usually in a single visit.

  • TCEQ-licensed irrigator (#LI0023789)
  • Certified backflow prevention assembly tester (#BP0023539)
  • Close working relationship with SAWS — current on San Antonio's latest irrigation rules and permit requirements
  • Family owned and operated — no subcontractors, ever
  • Fully stocked service vehicles — most repairs done in one visit
  • Residential and commercial properties across greater San Antonio

What We Do

Irrigation Services Done Right

Three core services, one standard: licensed work that holds up season after season. Every photo on this page is our team, on real San Antonio jobs.

Sprinkler Repair

Broken heads, leaking valves, stuck zones, controller issues, low pressure — we diagnose the real cause and fix it. Our trucks carry the parts, so most repairs are finished the same day we arrive.

Backflow Testing & Repair

Certified Tester — TCEQ #BP0023539

Texas requires annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies to protect the drinking water supply. We're certified to test and repair them — and we handle the required report filing with SAWS for you.

System Maintenance & Check-Ups

Seasonal inspections and tune-ups that catch small problems before they become expensive ones — from the controller on the wall to the last head in the yard. Ask us about our annual service plans.

Why It Matters

Why Your System Needs
Periodic Check-Ups

An irrigation system runs hundreds of hours a year, buried underground, in Texas heat. Small failures go unseen — until the water bill or the brown patch shows up.

  • 💵
    Optimize Water Efficiency

A single misaligned or broken head can waste thousands of gallons a season. Regular tune-ups keep every drop landing where it should — on your lawn, not the sidewalk.

  • 🔍
    Detect and Prevent Leaks

Underground leaks can run silently for months. Periodic inspections catch pressure drops and soft spots early, before they damage your foundation, your yard, or your wallet.

  • Extend the Life of Your System

Valves, heads, and controllers last years longer when they're adjusted and serviced on schedule — the same way regular oil changes protect an engine.

  • 🌱
    Promote a Healthier Landscape

Even coverage means even growth. Seasonal adjustments match your watering to San Antonio's brutal summers and mild winters, so your grass and beds thrive year-round.

  • 🛡️
    Prevent Future Problems

The cheapest repair is the one you never need. Routine check-ups are a fraction of the cost of an emergency dig-up or a full zone replacement.

The bottom line: a well-maintained system pays for itself in lower water bills, fewer repairs, and a landscape that actually looks the way you want it to.

Why Mabry

What Sets Us Apart

01
Licensed & Accountable

In Texas, it's illegal to sell, design, repair, or install irrigation systems without a TCEQ license. Ours are #LI0023789 and #BP0023539 — and we encourage you to verify them at tceq.texas.gov.

02
Certified Backflow Testing In-House

Backflow testing isn't a side job we farm out — our owner is a certified backflow prevention assembly tester (#BP0023539), so your annual test is done and filed by the same licensed team.

03
Plugged Into SAWS

San Antonio's water rules are evolving fast. We keep a close working relationship with SAWS and track every new licensing and permit requirement as it rolls out — so your system stays compliant without you thinking about it.

04
Fully Stocked Trucks

We arrive with the parts. Most sprinkler repairs are completed in one visit because we carry what's needed — no second appointments, no wasted afternoons.

05
Family Owned, Not a Franchise

You're dealing directly with the people whose name is on the truck. No call centers, no rotating crews, no subcontractors — a decade of repeat customers says it works.
